Presentation: "Java Modularity and OSGi for Application Developers"Time: Thursday 13:00 - 14:00 Location: Westminster Suite
Abstract:
OSGi became an important buzzword in 2008, and in 2009 it continues to take over the landscape of Java-based infrastructure products, from J2EE application servers to ESBs and IDEs. But as an Application Developer in Java, should you care about OSGi? How will it impact you? In this talk we will see how OSGi can be used in business applications. As a dynamic module system it allows for the development of truly reusable components. It enables a new and far more agile approach to the deployment and management of Java applications, whether on traditional "big iron" servers, on the cloud, or on your phone. OSGi will affect the whole Java world -- come to this session to find out how. Presentation: "OSGi and Java Modularization"
