Founder Venkat  Subramaniam

Dr. Venkat Subramaniam, founder of Agile Developer, Inc. has trained and mentored thousands of software developers in US, Canada, Europe, and Asia. He helps his clients succeed with Agile Development and various software technologies.

He is a frequent invited speaker at various international software conferences. He authored .NET Gotchas (O'Reilly), and co-authored the 2007 Jolt Productivity Award winning book Practices of an Agile Developer (Pragmatic Bookshelf) and Programming Groovy (Pragmatic Bookshelf).

His most recent book is Programming Scala (Pragmatic Bookshelf).

Abstract:

In this presentation we will explore the tools and techniques to create DSLs in Java.

We will address characteristics of DSLs, some patterns to create DSLs, take a look at examples of Java DSLs that already exists, and ways for you to create your very own DSLs.
