The Spring Framework is one of the most popular frameworks for creating enterprise applications in Java. It does not, however, automatically make your application robust. In this tutorial, we will explore how version 3 of the Spring Framework can help implement some of the patterns from Michael Nygaard's excellent Relase It! book - for example to create circuit breakers and monitoring. We will also take a look at some of the new features in Spring 3.0, such as asynchronous processing of requests.
The tutorial will be quite code-centric, and there will be plenty of opportunity to get down and dirty with some actual code.
Target audience: Mainly developers with some Spring
Framework experience who want to dig deeper into Spring and see real-world
solutions to real-world problems.
