Presentation: "Contracts & Collaboration in Agile “Offshore” Outsourced Development"

Time: Wednesday 12:05 - 13:05

Location: St James’s Suite, Fourth Floor

Abstract:
You have — or will be required to have by your company policy — a “low-cost” outsourcing relationship with an external vendor, probably based in India, Eastern Europe, or China. How to apply Scrum and agile principles in this case? What should a commercial contract look like? What kinds of interactions should exist between the customer and supplier? Reflecting his time at Valtech, which created “agile offshore” at their center in Bangalore India, and his consulting with various outsourcers in their adoption of large-scale Scrum, Craig introduces the key ideas for successful agile offshore development.
