Presentation: "Who Moved My Module"

Time: Wednesday 16:50 - 17:50

Location: Rutherford Room, Fourth Floor

Abstract:
Long gone are the days of sticking binaries in version control or on a shared drive. In this session we will explore the various options, changes and the challenges in managing software modules and will explore different approaches taken by tools such as Maven, Gradle and Ivy. We will dive into the world of connecting build servers and module repositories, and will show how to manage binary modules and run continuous release and delivery using Artifactory, a binary modules repository from JFrog. It doesn't matter if you are a software developer, a release engineer or a CM, this demo-packed presentation will demonstrate the way your build and development environment will look in the next years!
