Presentation: Connecting Everything - APIs & PaaS

Track: Solutions Track Thursday 2 / Time: Thursday 13:20 - 14:10 / Location: Abbey Room

APIs are making business and technical functions both abstracted and re-usable, both within organizations, across divisions and between companies. If APIs provide an abstraction from services, then Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) provides an abstraction from the deployment. This session will explore open source approaches to APIs and PaaS and how to create new digital connected ecosystems. We will look at organizations who've done this: how, why, and what the results are.
