Who can I contact for questions relating to payment?

You can contact us for any payment questions at payments@qconlondon.com.

What are the early bird discounts?

We offer discounted prices for purchasing earlier. We call this offer our “early bird” pricing. The earlier the ticket is purchased prior to the start of the conference, the larger the discount offered. You can review our list of early bird deadlines and pricing changes in our pricing table (subject to change without notice). For early bird pricing offers, we show the savings (as a percentage) if the ticket is purchased today versus the full price charged at the conference.

Do you offer discounts for multiple ticket purchases for teams or groups looking to attend?

In-person Conference Ticket: groups as small as 3 attendees working for the same company are eligible for a group discount. We also offer our returning QCon and QCon Plus attendees an alumni discount. For more details and to apply for a discount code, please contact info@qconlondon.com and mention the size of a group or the alumni name(s). Discounts cannot be combined or applied retroactively.

Video-Only Pass: no group discounts are available. An alumni discount is available for returning QCon attendees. For more details and to apply for a discount code, please contact info@qconlondon.com and mention the size of a group or the alumni name(s). Discounts cannot be combined or applied retroactively.

Do you offer alumni discounts for returning QCon or QCon Plus attendees?

Do ticket prices include VAT or Sales Tax?

All amounts are stated in Great British Pound Sterling (GBP/ÂŁ).

In-person (Conference 3-day) Tickets are subject to VAT:
VAT is charged because the place of supply of services in respect of admission to this QCon event is dictated by where the event actually takes place. In this case, as the conference is to be held in London, the VAT place of supply is the UK and so we are required to charge UK VAT. Prices are quoted excluding VAT. 20% VAT will be added at purchase.

Video-Only Passes may be subject to Canadian Sales Tax:
Video-Only passes may be subject to Canadian sales tax. Sales tax will be added at purchase, if applicable.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Paypal and major credit cards. A payment charged to your credit card or Paypal account is processed directly by us in the funds stated on the website. Please note that QCon is a trademarked and wholly-owned brand of C4Media Inc., which is located in Canada. Customers outside Canada or cards denominated in other currencies may incur foreign transaction or exchange fees from their issuing bank. C4Media does not control nor collect these fees.

Registration fees are non-refundable.

Please refer to QCon London Terms of Participation for more information.

If I’m unable to attend QCon London 2024 in-person, what options do I have?

Conference registration fees are non-refundable. However, if for some reason you can no longer attend QCon London 2024 in-person, you have 2 options to still make use of the ticket:

  • Transfer: You can transfer your QCon London 2024 ticket to another person until Friday, April 5th, 2024 (transfer fee is waived). Email info@qconlondon.com to request the transfer.
  • Watch online: You can watch the sessions via your online access that comes with the in-person ticket during the 6 months following the conference.

It is the responsibility of the transfer-giver to make sure that the transfer recipient receives and agrees to the QCon London Terms of Participation, is fully informed about the requirements of attending QCon London 2024. Failure of the transfer recipient being made aware of, or agreeing to, the QCon Terms and Conditions will not be a reason for a refund.

Why do I need to be charged VAT on this ticket purchase?

With regards to the in-person (Conference 3-days) ticket, the place of supply of services in respect of admission to this QCon event is dictated by where the event actually takes place. In this case, as the conference is to be held in London, the VAT place of supply is the UK and so we are required to charge UK VAT.

What are the QCon Terms of Participation?

QCon Terms of Participation can be found at https://qconlondon.com/terms-conditions.

Can I pay for tickets by invoice?

You are able to pay by invoice online by checking the "Do You Want to Pay Later by Invoice?" check box during registration.

When paying by invoice, our terms are NET 30*. Net 30 means that payment will be due 30 days from the day on which you register and the invoice is issued. PLEASE NOTE that this may mean the pricing will increase if the 30-day deadline falls within the next early bird discount period as our pricing is based on when payment is received. Refer to the FAQ section “What are the early bird discounts” for full details. Carefully review the registration early bird deadlines and pricing changes on the pricing table to check the price you will pay.

QCon charges a premium price point, but I can’t remember the last conference I attended (of 100s) where every single talk was interesting and I learned something.

QCon London 2023. âś… Done. It was a beautiful trip (3 days) along my professional path but oriented to the discovery of new scenarios. It is increasingly difficult to let oneself be guided by what has been done over the years, not remaining tied to beliefs or dogmas but constantly looking to the future. QCon masterfully blends these scenarios giving you continuous confirmations that the path taken is correct but at the same time leads you to new challenges making...

QCon is like the SuperBowl of technology conferences - expertly curated tracks, aimed at experienced individuals - it's a wonderland for learning, meeting people and just celebrating technology and the innovations in our industries. I leave the event with many things that I can take back and improve when back at work as well as being energised again. From the quality of the talks, the venue and organisation and the best keynotes daily, it's the highlight of my conference year!

The best part about QCon is that is not vendor driven. So there is less emphasis on selling products but more on the problem statement, tech agnostic solutions, processes and practices that have worked for others. And this is really powerful.
