Presentation: "Diseases in Management Methods"

Time: Thursday 15:45 - 16:45

Location: Henry Moore Room

Abstract: Merit ratings, wanting instant pudding, and other "diseases" infect management methods. These prevailing management "disorders" are almost always in conflict with agile principles and goals and stand in the way of success. Where do these "maladies" originate and why are they so hard to "cure"? Using examples from Deming and Senge, this presentation will explore agile systems perspectives on people issues in management.
