Ashwin Murthy is a Software Engineer at Uber working on building large scale distributed infrastructure. Currently, he is focused on building a highly available, fault tolerant and strongly consistent distributed database system using the Raft consensus protocol. Prior to Uber, Ashwin was an early engineer at Microsoft Azure and helped build the software defined networking infrastructure for the Azure public cloud.
