Presentation: Enterprise Integration: Past, Present and Future
Location:
- Abbey, 4th flr.
Duration
Day of week:
- Tuesday
Abstract
Many things have changed over the last 10 years. The next 10 years will be no different. Though some key concepts such as integration are very unlikely to dramatically change, it doesn’t mean the systems you build today will last for decades either.
As a vendor, we have seen many customers at various levels of maturity. While some organizations have kept legacy baggage going for decades, others have kept iterating to a level where they are never outdated. There is a fine line however, between innovation and stagnation where you spend the least and gain the most.
This talk focuses on key lessons learnt from the successes and failures of others. We’ll present case studies from various industries to understand the past, present and future of enterprise integration, and how to find the fine line of iterative improvement that best suits the kind of business you are in.
