We will have a number of speakers lined up as in a panel but then, after their first words, people from the audience can take their seats on stage. When someone from the audience wishes to join the Bowl, one of the Goldfish should leave it and make room.		Adam Blum, CEO of Rhomobile Adam is a longtime CTO/VP of Engineering/cofounder of several successful startups in the web services and mobile spaces including Commerce One, Systinet, and Good Technology. He is an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University, the author of several books on various computer science topics, and an avid ultramarathoner. TDD Expert Erik Doernenburg, ThoughtWorks Inc. Erik Doernenburg is a Principal Consultant at ThoughtWorks Inc. where he is helping clients with the design and implementation of large-scale enterprise solutions. Building on his experience with J2EE, Microsoft .NET and other environments, Erik is continually exploring patterns of enterprise software. He is an advocate of agile development and Open Source software, holds a degree in Informatics from the University of Dortmund and has studied Computer Science and Linguistics at the University College Dublin. See what Erik says about Jaoo in his blog Joe Armstrong, Father of Erlang Joe Armstrong is the principle inventor of the Erlang programming Language and coined the term "Concurrency Oriented Programming". He has worked for Ericsson where he developed Erlang and was chief architect of the Erlang/OTP system. In 1998 he left Ericsson to form Bluetail, a company which developed all its products in Erlang. In 2003 he obtained his PhD from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. The title of his thesis was "Making reliable distributed systems in the presence of software errors." Today he works for Ericsson. He is author of the book "Programming Erlang: Software for a concurrent world": (Pragmatic Bookshelf - July 15, 2007). Ola Bini, Language Geek Ola Bini works as a language geek for ThoughtWorks in Chicago. He is from Sweden but don't hold that against him. He is one of the JRuby core developers and have been involved in JRuby development since 2006. At one point in time, Ola got tired of all existing programming languages and decided to create his own, called Ioke. He has written a book called Practical JRuby on Rails Projects for APress, talked at numerous conferences, and contributed to a large amount of open source projects. His main passion lies in implementation languages, working on regular expression engines, trying to figure out how to create good YAML parsers - all with the final goal of taking our understanding of languages to the next level. Rebecca Parsons, ThoughtWorks Dr. Parsons has more than 20 years of application development experience in industries ranging from telecommunications to emergent internet services. She has been published in language and artificial intelligence media, served on numerous program committees, and currently reviews academic articles for several journals. Before coming to ThoughtWorks she worked as an assistant professor of computer science at the University of Central Florida. She also worked as director's post doctoral fellow at the Los Alamos National Laboratory researching issues in parallel and distributed computation, genetic algorithms, computational biology and non-linear dynamical systems. Dr. Parsons holds a [Ph.D] in Computer Science from Rice University.
