Presentation: Real-Time Systems at Twitter

Track: Design to Exceed the Limit - High Scalable Architectures / Time: Friday 10:20 - 11:10 / Location: Fleming

Twitter operates a service at a scale that is rarely seen. Over the past three years, Twitter has been constantly remodeling itself from a single application into a services-centric system. Through this, we've learned a series of lessons that can be applied to any application or service that is preparing for growth. This presentation talks about the lessons that Twitter learned in managing a high rate of change and complexity, and how those can be applied anywhere.
