Abstract
The Internet of Things increases the data movement challenge by orders of magnitude. How will all these “Things” be connected? How will we pick the best data movement pattern? What considerations are there apart from performance? This session will discuss the impact of IoT on data movement, characterise some challenging scenarios and introduce methods for structuring requirements and specifications for data movement architectures.
