Tiani has spent over 20 years in Engineering and Technology. With a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, she’s knowledgeable in software development, the Kanban Method, agile, and Lean UX from domains including mobile applications, IT consulting, flight simulation, aerospace, software localization, and consumer electronics. Her experience is centered on innovation through experiments that inform product design and XP technical practices. Her special interests are complexity theory, Theory of Constraints, and observability.

She co-developed, with Jabe Bloom & Michael Woodley, a framework for socio-technical systems transition based on the observability of work systems. Their work was based on praxis, the unified integration of theory in practice to create new knowledge and new ways of working for long-term transformation.

When not reading white papers on exogenous and endogenous uncertainties, Tiani enjoys weightlifting, languages, fashion, and art. She speaks French fluently and basic Spanish and Arabic. She’s a dual US/UK citizen.
