Building for Clouds

Track abstract
Cloud is finally being accepted as not YAEBW (Yet Another Empty Buzzword) but the real-world manifestation of the latest demand for flexible, utility-style and scale services. Questions around Public, Private, Hybrid, Infrastructure, Platform or *aaS are starting to disappear into the background and real-world innovators are beginning to really deliver on the promises that the cloud has touted for so long. This track will take a deep technical dive through how innovators are building and deploying their applications to the cloud, and even building clouds themselves, in order to realise the real benefits of on-demand, flexible infrastructure, platforms and services. If you're in the business of building and deploying applications and services that need to scale flexibly and you're considering public, private or hybrid cloud services to make this happen, this track is for you!
