Evolving Trainline Architecture for Scale, Reliability and Productivity

Trainline has been enabling customers to buy train tickets online for over 15 years. During that time a lot has changed - the volume of transactions, the reliability and latency expectations for ticket fulfillment, the number of engineers working on Trainline systems, the breadth of travel use-cases the app supports etc. This talk will cover how Trainline's systems architecture has evolved over the past 5 years to cater to these changes, as well as what's coming next.
