Abstract
Software complexity is scaling beyond the limits of human comprehension. This session explores the evolution of this complexity and strategies to manage it. We will also examine why, in a world of AI-generated code, creativity is a critical tool for senior ICs to maintain agency and influence.

Beyond shipping code, Phillip shapes the next generation of engineers as a visiting lecturer in MLOps and LLMOps at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL. In his downtime, he is often found in the dojo training for his next kick-boxing belt.
