Linda Northrop has 45 years of experience in the software development field as a practitioner, researcher, manager, consultant, author, speaker, and educator. She is a Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute (SEI) where she collaborates with academic and industrial researchers and works with federal, energy, healthcare, and computational science agencies as well as commercial organizations. Her main interests are software architecture, software product lines, ultra-large-scale systems, and software innovations to aide disabled children.
